    Summer Youth Writing Camp 2004

Once again the Summer Youth Writing Camp, held at Greater Mount Nebo Church, Bowie, Maryland during June 2004, was a tremendous success. The camp, the brainchild of Charlene Harry, founder and Director of Our Black Authors Foundation, selected youths in grades 5 through 11 from the Washington metropolitan area to spend a week of mornings focused on composing poetry and prose. Afternoons were dedicated to play, such as horseback riding and swimming.
